McDonald’s tapped into real fan camera rolls for a campaign, using unedited photos to capture nights out that inevitably end with a late-night snack. Blending physical and social marketing, the campaign leans on authenticity to position McDonald’s as the unofficial end to any night out.
Pam x Aerie Push Back Against AI
Aerie is doubling down on its “100% Aerie Real” platform with a campaign starring Pamela Anderson that rejects AI-generated imagery in favour of real, natural beauty. The ads, running across social and tv, prioritize the brand’s ethos of transparency through the unfiltered partnership.
Campaign Spotlight: Reale Actives
Ahead of the March 31 launch of her acne-focused skincare brand, Reale Actives, Alix Earle rolled out a first-of-its-kind social media campaign. A puzzle-style billboard in New York teased the brand, while influencers were sent pieces of the puzzle. Fans could only complete the puzzle by seeing influencers share their pieces. To bring the concept fully to life, Alix’s team added matching pieces to the billboard in real time—an unprecedented way to merge digital and physical worlds for a coordinated, interactive reveal.
Turning a launch into a mystery invites audiences to engage, speculate, and share organically. This campaign shows that leveraging an influencer or brand’s large following with staggered reveals across channels can keep the buzz alive. The key, however, is delivering a strong, satisfying payoff to turn that attention into lasting impact.
