Originating in Australia, STRONG Pilates is one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness franchises. However, the brand was virtually unknown when it entered Canada in 2024. To create a powerful first impression, STRONG Pilates engaged Strategic Objectives to drive studio attendance, and garner national interest among potential franchisees. 

Our dynamic, multi-channel media and influencer strategy helped position STRONG Pilates as the next big thing in boutique fitness – filling classes from day one and setting the stage for rapid expansion across Canada.

The challenge was twofold: build brand awareness and generate consumer excitement ahead of the Toronto flagship launch, while simultaneously appealing to potential franchisees across the country. To introduce STRONG Pilates to Canada in an attention-grabbing way, we created a high-impact, 360˚ PR campaign designed to drive awareness, engagement, and trial. Our approach included:

  • Custom influencer unboxing experiences, featuring STRONG Pilates essentials (grip socks, sweat towel, branded notecard, and class passes) to generate social buzz and drive word-of-mouth excitement. 
  • Exclusive Tastemaker Workout Sessions, inviting high-profile media and influencers to experience STRONG Pilates firsthand at the flagship studio in Toronto’s trendy Little Italy. 

STRONG Pilates says its Canadian debut exceeded all expectations. Our campaign generated an incredible 14.6+ million branded earned media impressions and drove significant demand, surpassing initial projections.
