Strategic Objective client for more than 6 years, Kia Canada charged us with creating an innovative ambassador strategy to help elevate Kia’s brand visibility, and drive excitement for its sought-after vehicle lineup through authentic content creator, and influencer partnerships.  

The challenge

Showcasing Innovation and Sustainability Across Canada

Our goal was to expand positive Kia awareness by generating dynamic cross-Canada social media coverage t that positioned Kia as a leader in sustainable mobility. Our challenge was increase awareness of the Kia line-up, with a strong focus on electric vehicles (EV’s).

The solution

Accelerating Kia’s reach with Influencers

Building on our previous successes, we expanded Kia’s influencer strategy to include a targeted group of consumers and lifestyle influencers who authentically engage with diverse audiences. Our approach included: 

  • New video formats to engage younger, tech-savvy audiences, leveraging YouTube Shorts and TikTok for maximum impact. 
  • Collaborating with emerging influencers, offering in-kind (unpaid) car loans to help them authentically engage with Kia’s vehicles and share their experiences with their followers. 
  • Tackling misconceptions about electric vehicles (EVs) by partnering with influencers to share genuine, informative content about EVs and their benefits. 
  • Fuelling Kia’s social presence with a continuous flow of compelling, high-quality content that resonated across both organic and paid channels. 

Leveraging the power of lifestyle influencers, we shared a movement and created inspiration.

The results

Beyond Expectations

  • IABC/Toronto OVATION Award Winner – Social Media
  • Enlisted 26 influencer partners to foster genuine brand relationships 
  • 20.7 million followers reached across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube 
  • 8.33% engagement rate, reflecting strong consumer interaction. 
  • Ambassador content received +40% more views than non-brand ambassador content on Kia owned channels 
  • Kia Canada’s Instagram channel @KiaCanada gained 15,000+ new followers, with key spikes related to brand ambassador content
