Cuisinart is a leader in at-home appliances and the company saw a tremendous opportunity to expand sales with its new Indoor Pizza Oven. Offering a convenient, year-round alternative to outdoor cooking, Cuisinart turned to Strategic Objectives to raise awareness for its new Indoor Pizza Oven and connect with potential customers. Our social media campaign, developed in close collaboration with Saverio D’Angelo, Director of Digital Marketing, Cuisinart, effectively leveraged the popularity of food content on social channels and served up wide-reaching impact.  

The challenge

Cooking-up Excitement in a Crowded Marketplace

Cuisinart was entering a crowded market as outdoor pizza ovens were already quite popular with at-home chefs. However, research showed that not everyone has access to outdoor cooking space, nor do they want to mess with unpredictable weather, or ovens that require wood, pellets or propane. Our communications highlighted the convenience of the Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven and emphasized the entertainment value of developing personalized recipes.

The solution

Catering to Diversity in Pizza Preferences

SO engaged a cast of six talented, respected, and diverse chefs to create and share original and inspiring pizza recipes. With varying target audiences, each influencer had a unique take on content that authentically showcased the oven’s impressive quality, versatility and functionality, while demonstrating the fun “making-of” lifestyle experience. Featuring a full range of cooking styles, they demonstrated how the Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven is a valued, must-have for everyone.   

  • Our Ambassador Program included three rounds of content on Instagram and TikTok, where our pizza partners seamlessly blended their own style with key messaging. 
  • We developed a culinary travel giveaway for pizza lovers and they entered by submitting videos that captured their own love of making pizza at home. Our “New York City Pizza Experience Giveaway” on TikTok saw one lucky winner travel to famous pizza hot spots in NYC. The contest maximized online exposure and encouraged UGS/organic content, increasing engagement, reach and awareness.
