About

WHAT SHE BRINGS TO THE TEAM

Laura brings dependable thoughtfulness and depth to her work, and is a strategic storyteller, fascinated by what makes people tick. Never afraid to tackle tough questions, she delivers experienced client counsel and challenges colleagues to think critically and creatively. While professional, Laura is also personable, and likes nothing more than to coach one-to-one or meet for coffee to connect on a personal level. An advocate for accessibility, Laura is a member of the Strategic Objectives Alliance for Representation and champions its initiatives in the workplace and beyond.

HER ORIGIN STORY

A graduate from the University of London, Laura hails from Kent in the UK and has extensive PR and communications experience. She’s worked in corporate, agency and at start-ups and has a passion for taking complex topics and making them accessible — whether that be science, technology, health, policy or other. Her career highlights include masterminding a robotics episode of The Apprentice, feeding dog food to the UK’s premier daytime show hosts, and landing the front pages of national newspapers. Her day-to-day motivation comes from making a difference and she looks for meaning in every campaign. She is proud to work with brands and not-for-profits that put people, pets, and the planet first.

HOW SHE SPENDS HER WEEKENDS

Laura is a knowledge-seeker and likes nothing more than exploring the city’s latest exhibitions. Since coming to Toronto in September 2021 she’s taken in ballet, opera, concerts, comedy, immersive theatre, and sports matches — not bad with a lockdown in-between! You can often find her in a TikTok hole, scrolling to find the latest hotspots for food and drink. When rest and recuperation is required, she spends time with friends, makes cafetières of strong coffee, and snuggles up on the sofa to watch the latest episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
