Who runs the world? Girls!

For more than 100 years, International Women’s Day has marked the celebration and commemoration of women’s inimitable achievements, and an official day to take a stand for the acceleration of a diverse, gender-equal world where our differences are valued.

Since SO’s founding in 1983, we have proudly and actively stood up for women’s rights through our unique and impactful cause-driven campaigns, our ongoing charitable initiatives, and by advancing PR excellence alongside the incredibly brilliant and creative superstars who make up our agency.

Today – and every day, we’re celebrating fearless, talented women who’ve left an indelible mark on the world; who’ve beat the odds and made notable accomplishments; who’ve transformed perceptions and paved the way for more and more women to achieve great success.

To celebrate International Women’s Day in 2023, our SO Culture Club, comprised of self-motivated culture leaders and voracious readers, have compiled a short list of favourite female authors. Who would you add to the list?
